Digital Architect

Darcy is the long-distance force behind the online store.  Located first in Hong Kong and now in Australia, his global reach and experience has generated innovative solutions to our complicated problems.  He is responsible for the direct way our art inventory moves seamlessly from intake in Kingston to digital content in our online store accessible anywhere.  He is a constant source of support and innovative thinking for the future trajectory of Studio22's expanded reach.

Gallery Assistant


Jenna is a 4th year Queen’s undergraduate who has been working with the gallery for over a year.  In her role as Gallery Assistant, she is responsible for artwork intake and management.  She assumes Front of House duties and is always more than happy to greet and assist customers. 

Jenna is planning to pursue a career in Interior Design and, with her intimate knowledge of the gallery’s inventory, she will be assuming additional responsibilities in the new year with the further development of our Art Rental Program.  She will be assisting our business clients with learning about and selecting artwork for their offices and workspaces.  

Production Manager


Kezi is a driven young theatre artist who has assumed the position of Production Manager while she prepares to go to university.  She works with the Director on exhibit preparations and is tasked with the care and maintenance of the gallery sets - staging, lights and sound.  She assists in hanging the exhibits, leads special-projects and tends the gallery three days a week.  The Production Manager also works under the Art Director and assists with circulation of promotional materials and the binding of gallery catalogues produced for special exhibits.

Kezi plans to pursue a career in the arts and has been able to gain valuable knowledge and useful experience from the exposure to art, artists and the larger artistic community.

Marketing & Communications Coordinator


Sarah is a Communications graduate of Carleton University and is currently enrolled in Public Relations and Event Management at Loyalist College .  She has joined us for the fall and early winter to take over the duties of our Marketing & Sale Director who is on maternity leave.  Sarah coordinates our social media output, manages our customer relations and analytics and is focused on improving our online communication methods through our site and online store.  

Marketing & Communications Director


Nicole is responsible for guiding and expanding the gallery's reach locally, nationally and beyond. She directs social media efforts, targets our advertising and works with the Director to plan medium and long term goals for the gallery.
Nicole has over 10 years experience as a sales, marketing and business development leader. She moved back to Canada from the U.S. last year and is now happily pursuing her passion of promoting art appreciation and acquisition. Nicole is committed to ensuring Studio22 is globally recognized for its acclaimed artwork, accomplished artists and accessible prices.
Currently on maternity leave, Nicole is scheming in the background and will return to the gallery sometime in the new year.

Art Director

Hersh is a partner, graphic designer and artist.

Hersh designs and produces all the studio's printed and promotional material.  The Idea Manufactory, as a physical space on the 3rd floor of the studio's building, is his lair.  His unique graphic style is rooted in a deep love of type, paper and books and is the source of the reams of content that pour out of Studio22's manufactory. Artist and patron alike appreciate the unabashed enthusiasm of Hersh's graphic calls to attention.  His exhibition catalogues are collectible items.
