SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1st.
Artist Stefan Duerst is always open to new creative experiences and expressions. He is currently working on a collaboration with renown German graffiti artist, Loomit, who will be spending the week of September 25th to October 2nd in residence at Duerst’s Godfrey Sculpture Park. While there, Loomit will be using his free-flowing style of spray painting to add another level of depth to Stefan’s latest works, which he has specifically prepared for this collaboration and will be exhibited at Studio 22, beginning November 15th. The public is welcome to drop by and witness the two artists at work.
Loomit will be also be hosting a one-day workshop on Saturday, October 1st to share his techniques of wall prep, priming, layout, lettering and more. The fee for this course is $100+ $30 for materials. Prerequisite: basic drawing or painting skills.
