We enter 2022 full of hope and optimism but it must be acknowledged that 2021 was a challenging year. Our online sales remained stable but, due in large part to the pandemic, we witnessed a 50% decline in in-person gallery visits from 2020 to 2021.
OFF THE RECORD is a Private Art Bidding Opportunity where we are inviting our customers, subscribers and supporters to take the reins and help Studio22 make up lost ground.
Studio22 will be accepting private bids for ANY and ALL artwork.
Tuesday, February 15th - Tuesday, February 22nd
How does it work?
It's as simple as find it, love it, bid for it!
Visit our ARTISTS PAGE if you have a specific piece in mind.
Scan EXHIBITIONS PAGE to view full work from past solo exhibits.
Browse our GALLERY SHOP to see all available work from newest to oldest arrivals.
Once you have found the piece(s) you love, decide what price you would be willing to pay for the artwork and simply submit the name of the piece, name of the artist, your contact information and bid amount in the form below.
Once all bids are received, Studio22 will review the highest bid on any particular piece and discuss with the artist directly.
If the bid does not meet the threshold of acceptance we will respond with a one-time counter-offer for you, the bidder, to either accept or decline.
Studio22 will notify bidders of acceptance or respond with a counter-offer on or before Friday, February 25th.
If you would like to bid on an artwork that you cannot find on our website or that is listed as ‘not currently available’, please use the inquiry form below and we will work to locate it for you and inform you of the status.

Terms, conditions and additional information:
- During the week of OFF THE RECORD, Studio22 will be open for in person visits Friday, February 18th and Saturday, February 19th from 12:00-5:00pm.
- Bids will be accepted from Tuesday, February 15th at 12:01am until Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:59pm.
- In the event where multiple bids are entered for the same artwork during the one week bidding period, Studio22 will review the highest bid.
- Studio22 reserves the right to decline any bid for any reason and is not required to provide counter-offer.
- When a counter-offer is extended by Studio22, bidder has 48 hours to accept or decline.
- Upon acceptance of bid or counter-offer, bidder has 48 hours to place a 20% deposit on the artwork or the piece will go to the next highest bidder.
- Artwork may be picked up at the gallery as of Tuesday, March 1st, once full payment has been received.
- Artwork subject to HST.
- If applicable, shipping costs will be calculated separately. Artwork will be shipped out beginning Tuesday, March 1st.
