Queen of Sorrow
Not currently available – If you are interested in this, please contact us.
Start/Completion date: 2013
Description:
Figurative portrait of a young woman trapped in stone. A pointing machine was used to copy 1:1 from a clay model.
Artist Intention:
Fading into darkness, the Queen of Sorrow is unable and unwilling to step into the light. The intrusive stone surrounds and engulfs her, diminishes her senses, thus allowing her to think clearly without distractions from the outside world.
