Description:  Abstract twinned petals in Royal Danby marble.

Artist Intention:

Unlike Carrara marble, this Vermont marble has large snowflake-like crystals which sparkle brilliantly when exposed to light. The rounded seamless exterior surfaces create an internal refuge that is balanced and familiar.

The intertwined twined petals provide mutual support, and only together provide shared stability and a shared space of tranquility and retreat.  This sculpture represents shelter for the soul, ambitions and dreams from the outside world.
